What is a health Coach?

Health coaching analyses all aspects of your life with a strong emphasis on nutrition. We look at the primary foods (healthy relationships, regular physical activity, a fulfilling career and spiritual practice) and their impact on your health. Over time, working with a health coach provides you with accountability, support and regular check-ins to build new habits and replace old ones. Ultimately, this will empower you to live a balanced life. With holistic health coaching, you can expect to create a healthy, happy, confident and purpose-driven self.

How long should I commit for?

I recommend a minimum of six months to create an environment for change to take hold. However, programmes can be tailor-made for a shorter or longer period of time based on your needs and requirements. Together we will ride the highs and the lows. As your health coach, I am here to support you, especially during the lows.

What are some of the issues that Clearly Holistic health coaching will address?

Together we look at how all areas of your life are interconnected. Does your stressful job impact your eating habits? Does too little sleep and the resulting exhaustion stop you from exercising? Is your job using up all your patience, causing your personal relationships to suffer?

There is no perfect way of eating because we all have specific needs depending on our age, size, lifestyle, blood type and even ancestry. Instead of focussing on calorie intake or specific diet plans, I focus on creating a balance between all areas of your life. Together, we create an eating approach that is based on your bio-individuality. The approach is highly personalised and dependent on your unique needs, desires and circumstances.

Together we will make small, manageable changes and tweaks until we have designed a personal and flexible nutritional approach that resonates with you.

Like everything in life, success depends on your actions. A Clearly Holistic programme consists of regular sessions and e-mail check-ins, but what happens in-between these sessions is key. If you are fully committed to the programme, you will be equipped with key resources to carry you throughout your life, and you can expect:

You can call this ‘instant gratification’!

What is the difference between a health coach and a life coach?

A health coach takes an integrated approach on nurturing body, mind and soul. Establishing balance and awareness in the primary foods of life – physical activity, spirituality, relationships and career.
